Ministry Experience: Ken has served at Various churches in many capacities. Worship Leader, Backstage Manager. Frontlines Director. Volunteer recruitment leader. Backstage Tour Direc- tor, Video Cameraman, Video Editor, Video Ministry Director, Online Campus Director.

Occupation: Campus Security, Kamehameha Schools

Testimony: Ken and Linda Schmidt have been attending Elevate for about four years. They have 4 children, Derrick, David, Rachel and Keahi. The youngest Keahi still lives at home and attends Elevate as well. Ken has a heart for the Lost, and is always looking for ways to take the church outside of the walls and into the community. Ken and wife Linda have served many Years as “Angels” at Hawaiian Island Ministries (HIM) annual conferences. His mission is to always win one more for the Kingdom of God. During his time in Bible College he taught himself web design and helped many churches create and maintain web sites. During the recent Pandemic when many churches had to go online for the very first time. Ken was a consultant for 11 churches to get them online and reach into the congregations homes for those who could no longer attend in person. Ken says “I’m a sinner who’s been changed by Jesus to Live Like Jesus”. My Life verse is 1 Timothy 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry. It’s a Blessing to serve at Elevate and more importantly to be Obediant to Christ and His Will. Ken and his wife Linda make thier home in Central Oahu in Mililani.
