APPLICATION:
Mama, can I tell you something?
YOU are essential.
Maybe you don’t feel it, maybe you don’t see it, but the very fact that you have breath in your lungs proves that God still has a purpose for you, right here and right now.
Being a mom is one of life’s greatest callings and having a mom is one of life’s greatest gifts. Motherhood evokes all sorts of emotions in us. For some it is a time of celebration for others a time of mourning. Whether you are longing to be a mom, longing for your mom or longing for a moment of alone time, God sees you.
From the suburbs to the city, we all face challenges as mothers from choosing the best school to getting our kids to eat their veggies. But now with the ever-changing challenges of COVID-19, we are in uncharted territory.
Over the next two weeks, we will hear from all different types of mothers who are showing up to their lives every day and like you, making the most of what they’ve been given. Although you may not do it perfectly (none of us do), you are making a massive difference in the lives of those you’ve been entrusted with.
So today as you arise, you might not always hear it from the voice of your kids or the voice of your husband but hear it from me sis, “YOU are blessed. Many women do noble things but you surpass them all.”
PRAYER:
Jesus, as we do a deep dive into this study, I ask that You would open my heart to receive from You. Give me insights on the way You see me and the way You love me. I accept Your invitation to grow. I accept Your invitation to give myself grace.
Speak to me over the next two weeks through this devotional, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Hope all the mom's in spirit and body, may our God given gifts be encourage here, benefits those around us, & even ourselves,... sometimes we are last on list of caring. Ready to take deep breathes and soak in water of life. aloha, (Real flower blooms)
